This is a really nicely done fic. I love Rao (and that someone has the sanity to turn down the EXCITEMENT!!! of the Enterprise) and I love Kirk's mom being awesome, and Kirk getting emotional closure with her, and everyone and their families! The pacing is really good, too - it feels like an episode should. Also I cannot now decide if I ship Pike/Winona, or Scotty/Winona. *solemn*
